Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord and followed the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left. In the eighth year of his reign, while he was still young, he began to seek the God of his father David. In his twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of high places, Asherah poles and idols. – 2 Chronicles 34:1-3
I had the privilege working with Loretta Dozier, who’s the Founder of the Dove Bible Club. Here’s the first promo video for the DBC. Looking forward to working more with DBC. Thanks also goes to Kerry Fink with TYGMedia for letting me work on this project.

In 2 Chronicles 34:1-3, we find an eight-year old boy by the name of Josiah becoming King of Judah. His predecessors were vile and scandalous. Allowing the nation to spiral out of control, adopting paganism and worshiping false idols. Within the first few years of Josiah’s reign (even though he was very young), he managed to begin something wonderful and fascinating. He rid the nation of paganism and destroyed the false idols that had been created during previous kings. During Josiah’s 31 year reign, he managed to clean out the temple and revive obedience to God’s Law through repentance and a humble heart.
Dove Bible Club was founded by Mrs. Loretta Dozier in January 2008. Since that time, she has committed her time to fulfilling a vision the Lord gave her in 2002. A vision to start teaching the gospel to children at an early age. After extensive research, Loretta found the landmark case of Good News Club v. Milford Central School District – where the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that a public school which allows use of its facilities after school to secular groups may not discriminate against religious groups. Using this case and working with officials at the top levels of education, God opened the necessary doors to get the gospel to his children in the schools.
Dove Bible Club believes that reaching children at an early age is vital. Age is not a determining factor for what God can do in one’s life. Like King Josiah, a child shown who God is has the ability and knowledge to accomplish much in this world. And learning from those that go before them – they, in turn, can raise the banner of Christ and walk firm in His Word and ways. We rejoice in what Dove Bible Club is doing in Brevard and pray that His blessings continue to give them the means necessary to teach His Word.
Dove Bible Club is currently in 30 elementary schools across Brevard County. They stand firm in the fact that God will open the doors to all the schools with a chapter being in each of them. If you would like to learn more about them, find what schools they are currently in, apply for them to be within your school, or do not live in Brevard County (but would like Dove Bible Club in your county), please visit there resources below and contact them for more details.
Have you accepted Christ as your Savior?
If you would like to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, please pray the following prayer:
"God, I believe in you and your son Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave to save me. Today, I invite Jesus into my heart to stay. I make you Lord over my life. Make me new. Wash me, Lord, and cleanse me. In Jesus Name, Amen"
If you have just prayed that prayer, we want to celebrate your new victory with you. Please contact us at prayers@awministries.org so we can welcome you into the kingdom. We don't want you to have to walk alone and we have some resources we would like the opportunity to share with you.
