By His Design

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.  For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.  He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.  And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.  For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,  and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.  – Colossians 1:15-20

Do we truly know how powerful our Lord is? Do we seek Him in others and seek to fulfill His vision through the Body?  Do we truly understand what it means to be a part of His Kingdom?

We live in a digital world.  One built, almost solely, on networking. We network in the business place. We network with family. We network with friends. We network through social media. We network with other Believers. But how often do we network through Him, through His Spirit? How often do we seek His vision for the Kingdom by networking with His Spirit that dwells in other believers?

Louie Giglio, pastor of Passion City church in Atlanta, GA, speaks about Christ being the glue that holds the body of believers together. (Video Above)  During his talk, he speaks of a microbiologist that introduced him to an essential protein the body must have in order for tissue to survival.  In short, the protein, named Laminin (see above, right), serves as the glue which holds our bodies together and keeps everything from spilling over into other regions.  For instance, it’s what makes a kidney a kidney, the liver a liver, and so on.  Without Laminin, there’s no definition.  Nothing telling the organs in the body how to work together as one.  This is significant as this sermon served as inspiration for our ministry. But what’s marvelous is how awe-inspiring God’s Design really is.  Pastor Giglio points to Colossians 1:15-20 as the written Word proclaiming Christ as glue and by no chance, I’m sure – God made Laminin in the shape of a cross.  Pointing us straight back to Him as the one that binds us together – physically.  However, we are not merely physical beings.  We are spiritual ones as well.

A very prominent pastor once proclaimed that the Holy Spirit is like the electricity in the wire.  For our purposes, He is the data in the network cable.  He’s what keeps the Body of Christ well connected. Telling the head what the arms and hands need to do while keeping us grounded and moving forward with strong legs leading one another into new places we’ve been called to go. The Holy Spirit has revealed to us at Audra Waters Ministries, Inc that, through our surrender to His leading, He is using our ministry to serve as administrative spiritual laminin working to allow Him to hold His body of Christ, the church, together.  Bringing further definition to each working and connected part. Allowing us all to operate as one body under the blood covering of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Much of this definition for us has come through directly working with Ocean Floor Web and Graphic Design Ministries, Inc. The two visions fusing simultaneously together under the submitted guidance of the Holy Spirit served as confirmation for each individual ministry and produced something neither ministry could have ever predicted.  In time, we discovered that both ministries were propelled to allow the Lord to carry out the very same vision, each with their own working part, by providing a foundation for other ministry efforts to be built and strengthened upon.

Audra Waters Ministries, Inc. is committed to this vision.  He has shown us a blueprint, of sorts, to proper connection within the Kingdom.  Based on these scriptural elements, the Lord has successfully given us the ability to network with other ministries and help guide the process between Audra Waters Ministries, Inc. and other ministries – as well as guide other ministries to properly channel and work among themselves as well.  The key elements He has given us, in no particular order are: 1) Prayer, 2) Relationship, and 3) Encouragement.

1. Prayer – We believe prayer is a vital part of life and all it entails – personal, business, family, etc.  (See Matthew 6:9-13)
2. Relationship – We believe God calls us together to learn, love, and relate with one another.  (see Hebrews 10:24-25)
3. Encouragement – We seek to encourage, comfort, and urge others to place their lives and work into His hands.  (See 1 Thessalonians 2:12)
